Happy Wednesday, everybody! Disney•Pixar has just revealed via social media that their upcoming film, Onward, will be released March 6, 2020, along with a bit of amazing casting news:
That's right! Onward will feature the voices of Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer! We previously learned a little bit about Onward at 2017's D23 Expo. Here is what we know so far about the plot, from director Dan Scanlon:
“In the film, we’re going to tell the story of two teenage elf brothers whose father died when they were too young to remember him. But thanks to the little magic still left in the world, the boys embark on a quest that will allow them a chance to spend one last magical day with their father.”
This sounds wonderful! It feels like Disney•Pixar has assembled the perfect cast for this. Counting down the days until March 6, 2020!
