Can you believe that D23 Expo 2019 is only 78 days away? (We've obviously been counting down the days since the last D23 Expo back in 2017.) The biggest Disney fan event of the year takes place August 23-25, and D23: The Official Disney Fan Club just announced the lineup day by day in "Hall D23" at the Expo. Ready for it? Here's the breakdown:
Friday, August 23
The event will kick off with the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, hosted by Bob Iger, on Friday morning at 10:30 am. This year, they're honoring Wing Chao, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, James Earl Jones, Bette Midler, Kenny Ortega, Barnette Ricci, Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, Ming-Na Wen, and Hans Zimmer. It sounds truly ... legendary.
Later that same day, Disney+, the ultimate streaming service for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, and more, will showcase its slate of original films and series coming to the service on November 12. Fans will get a first look at the new live-adaptation of Lady and the Tramp, The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and many more exciting new releases joining the service.
Saturday, August 24
On Saturday morning at 10 am, The Walt Disney Studios will share a sneak peek at films from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, and Lucasfilm. Better bring tissues to this one because fellow fans, we are about to get hit with some pretty epic Disney magic.
Sunday, August 25
Beginning at 10:30 am on Sunday, Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products will present what's new for Disney Parks & Resorts around the world. Disney Parks Chairman Bob Chapek will lead the morning presentation and share info about Epcot's transformation at the Walt Disney World Resort — something we've been very eager to learn more about.

Single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday of D23 Expo 2019 are available: $89 for one-day adult admission and $69 for children 3–9. Gold Members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club can purchase tickets for $77 for a one-day adult admission and $59 for children 3–9. Single-day Saturday tickets and three-day passes are sold out.
