Today we learned all about it and are excited to share everything we know so far about Monsters at Work!
We can hardly contain our screams because it’s official—a new animated series inspired by the world of Monsters, Inc. is coming to Disney+ in 2020! Today we learned all about it and are excited to share everything we know so far about Monsters at Work. Here it goes:
Billy Crystal and John Goodman are back as Mike and Sulley.
Can we just say how happy this makes us? The series picks up six months after the original movie’s story, with the Monsters, Inc. plant powering the city of Monstropolis with sounds of children’s laughter.
We’ll meet a new character: Tylor Tuskmon (voiced by Ben Feldman).
Tylor is an eager and talented young mechanic at the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT) who dreams of working his way up to the Laugh Floor to become a Jokester like his idols Mike and Sulley.
Celia Mae and Yeti are back!
Who would Mike be without his Schmoopsie-Poo? We’re happy to announce that Jennifer Tilly will reprise her role as Celia, and John Ratzenberger will return as Yeti (and a new character, Bernard).
Monsters at Work is full of stars.
Joining the cast of the new animated series is Kelly Marie Tran as Val Little, Tylor’s lifelong friend and confidante; Henry Winkler as Fritz, the scatterbrained boss; Lucas Neff as Duncan, an opportunistic plumber; Alanna Ubach as Cutter, the rule follower; Stephen Stanton as Smitty and Needleman, the bumbling custodial team, and Aisha Tyler as Tylor’s mom Millie Tuskmon.
Roz has a twin sister!
That’s right. There’s two of them. Bob Peterson will return as Roze, twin sister to his original Monster’s, Inc. character, Roz.
2020 can’t come soon enough! We are so ready to laugh along with the Monsters at Work gang!
Disney+ is available for pre-order in the US. Be among the first to have it and start streaming November 12.
