Pedro Pascal to Play Title Role in The Mandalorian, Coming to Disney+, Disney’s Upcoming Streaming Service

Star Wars.com has announced today that Pedro Pascal will play the title role in The Mandalorian, an upcoming live-action Star Wars series written and executive produced by Jon Favreau for Disney+, The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer streaming service which is set to launch in the U.S in late 2019.

Also joining the cast are Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi , Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. Welcome to the Star Wars universe, everybody!

“We’re having a great time working with this incredibly talented group and excited for everyone to see what we’re up to,” said Favreau. We genuinely can’t wait.
